Yogashala: Nestled in a bamboo grove is our beautiful glass yogashala. A wonderful serene space to meditate, practise self or guided yoga. Yoga sessions with a local instructor can be arranged on request.

Swimming pool and Steam room: Heated swimming pool overlooking a lush hill forest.

Games: Table Tennis, Badminton, Board games

Bonfires: (In winters) with barbecue. Local musicians and bands can be organised for special occasions.

Activities in and around Andretta

Pottery in Andretta:

Andretta Pottery, the oldest Pottery studio in India, was set up in 1961 by the renowned potter Gurcharan Singh. It is just a two minute walk from us and offers hourly classes for guests. A chance to create magic on the potter’s wheel.

Atelier Lalmitti, This studio is a special place for the arts in general and ceramics in particular. You’ll find their whimsical blue and white pieces of pottery all across our property.

Recently set up studios Clairvoyant Studio and Otsü Pottery

Wah Tea Estate: A scenic tea estate surrounded by an ocean of manicured tea gardens. Has a tea tasting room, with a lovely garden cafe. Witness the tea growing and manufacturing process from plant to cup. 

Sobha Singh Art Gallery: The art gallery and museum displays some of the finest work of Sir Sobha Singh, which include famed portraits of the Sikh Gurus, Sohni-Mahiwal and Hir-Ranjha.

His Holiness The Dalai Lama Temple: A historic and beautiful Buddhist Temple which is home to His Holiness The Dalai Lama. A must visit when in Mc Leod Ganj.

Norbulingka Institute: Norbulingka is dedicated to handing down Tibetan traditions. Set in a beautiful complex, they produce high quality traditionally crafted art objects.

Sherbaling Monastery: Contains 250 monks’ quarters and all of the traditional monastic features.

Baijnath Temple: Houses one of the 12 holy jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva in the country. The temple constructed in 1207 AD is made in the Nagara style of architecture, which is very popular in HP.

Kangra Fort: The largest fort in the Himalayas and one of the oldest dated fort in India.

Kangra Valley Railway: experience one of five toy train rides in the country.
